COACH DEB KEMPE
Deb began her triathlon career in 2009 and quickly embraced the sport, moving from novice to an inaugural member of the Blackfins High Performance Squad.
During that time Deb has completed every distance in triathlon from enticer to Ironman, as well as competing in all cycling disciplines from the UCI 20km Time Trial, BWA's 5 Dams and in a sponsored Cycling Team in the 2014 Tour of Margaret River.
Deb has enjoyed some great success in the sport, with highlights being 2012 Challenge Wanaka 3rd place, 2013 ITU World Long Course 3rd place, 2014 World Champion Duathlon, 5 Dams - first female duo. She has also enjoyed wins in Busselton, Mandurah and Geelong 70.3 and currently holds the Australian Veteran Cycling Mockeridge Cup for fastest female at the National Championships.
A particular passion is to encourage and support fellow female cyclists to become more confident and proficient.
